In other words, all gooseneck flatbed trailers look alike, however, YOU are looking for the flatbed gooseneck trailer that will last the longest. Here at GoBob, we could sell any gooseneck flatbed trailers we wanted to. But like our other products, we CHOOSE to sell only the best. We trust that YOU know, that over the life of any equipment, the BEST is always the most economical.
After you study this website and carefully compare what you learn here and from other flatbed gooseneck trailer manufacturers, you will be convinced that the Red Rhino™ gooseneck flatbed trailers are the finest, quality constructed and longest lasting flatbed gooseneck trailers period!
Most trailer manufacturers use channel for their side rails, cross-members and bumpers. The cheapest trailers even resort to angle iron (egad!). Red Rhino™ trailers utilize rectangular tubing for these components. Rectangular tubing adds strength because it is a four-sided structural shape without adding a lot of weight. It also protects the light connections as the backside is enclosed within the tubing.
Rear bumper and side rails constructed of rectangular tubing. Adds strength without
adding much weight.
Protects the light connections from mud, snow and ice.
Cross-members are rectangular tubing as well, increasing strength without weight so your
payload is not reduced.
These cross-members are on 16” centers, not 18” as in some trailers.
Flooring is treated with M2C that will not corrode your screws.
These fractures are caused by constant twist and flex of your main-beams. All Red Rhino gooseneck flatbed trailers are built with a torsion tube under the frame that minimizes this torsion. Some cheap trailer manufacturers scoff at the idea but we believe a torsion tube will DOUBLE the life of your trailer.
This is a view of the bottom side of a Red Rhino flatbed gooseneck trailer. Notice the 4 ½”OD pipe
running down the center of the frame. This is the torsion tube. It is tied to the main-beam at
three points. Also note the underside of Red Rhino hay trailers are primed and painted. Many
trailer manufacturers do not paint the underside.
This is a view of the rectangular side rail. The screw you see protruding fastens the light fixture on the
other side. Notice no wires or connections are exposed. Otherwise, these connections might catch mud,
snow or even brush. All other wiring in the Red Rhino is enclosed in 1.05”OD Schedule. 40 pipe, not conduit.
The ramps on the Red Rhino™ come standard with load equalizers and are spring assisted. Many gooseneck flatbed manufacturers do not provide these stabilizers. Without them, when loading equipment, you would not only pick up the rear end of your truck, but you would add longitude stress to your main beams.
Equalizers are adjustable...
...so they will lay down flat when you need the entire bed.
A six-foot ramp reduces the angle or “steepness” of the ramps when loading. More importantly it makes your trailer more versatile in that you can load equipment with lower ground clearance, like an automobile. All stock standard-height Red Rhinos are equipped with six-foot ramps.

Notice how this vehicle easily clears the trailer because of the six-foot ramps.

Red Rhino™ also offers the finest 10K and 12K low profile trailers on the market. A low profile trailer in created by piercing the main beams and running the cross members through them, instead of on top of them. We also use lower profile tires and place deck plate over the wheel wells. This lowers the deck of the trailer by 5 inches. Subsequently the low profile lowers the center of gravity and makes getting up and down from the deck much easier.
